Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Florida- CVS Patients

Did you know that Max Drugs Pharmacy is able to fill Florida Blue (Blue Cross & Blue Shield) prescriptions?

For many new and current Florida Blue members who enroll in a health plan, 2017 will bring changes to their choice of pharmacies. The good news is that Walgreens will be part of the pharmacy network for all of our health plans on January 1, 2017. Another change occurring on January 1, is that CVS and other CVS-owned pharmacies*, including Navarro and Target, will no longer be in the pharmacy network for many Florida Blue health plans.

But there’s no need to worry. You’ll still be able to get the medication you need at a pharmacy near you. Most Florida Blue plans include many participating pharmacies throughout the state, including Walgreens, Publix, Winn-Dixie, Walmart and other smaller retailers and independent pharmacies. If you’re enrolled in a myBlue health plan, your exclusive pharmacy in 2017 will be Walgreens.
